Reverse Minesweeper Logic Puzzle
Reviews
Description
Mines Are Visible, Numbers Are Not
Reverse Minesweeper inverts the familiar minesweeper formula. Every mine position is shown on the board from the start, so there is no hidden information to uncover. The challenge shifts to arithmetic and spatial reasoning: each empty cell needs a number tile that matches how many mines sit in the eight adjacent cells, counting horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. How a Turn Works
A pool of number tiles waits at the bottom of the screen. You drag a tile onto an empty cell, and the game checks whether the number equals the surrounding mine count. A correct placement stays; a wrong one flashes red and the tile returns to the pool. The goal is to fill every non-mine cell, and a limited hint system can auto-place one correct number when you stall. [IMG_2]
Designed for Deduction, Not Guessing
Because mine locations are public, progress depends on observation and elimination rather than probability. Scanning for cells with many adjacent mines usually reveals the easiest starting points, and working from the board's edges inward helps avoid missed clues. The interface is clean and drag-and-drop controls work across desktop, tablet, and phone. [IMG_3]
Who It Suits
The game is family-friendly and educational, with no violent or inappropriate content. It fits short breaks as well as longer sessions, and each puzzle is unique, so replayability comes from fresh boards rather than memorized solutions. Players who enjoy math, memory, and brain-training puzzles are the natural audience.
