Geometric Pattern Recognition

Description
Round Structure and Objective
Each round presents a single geometric figure at the top of the screen. Below it, a set of candidate shapes appears, and only one is an exact match. The player selects a shape by tapping or clicking before a short timer reaches zero. A correct pick adds points to the score; a wrong pick or a timeout resets the streak. The session has no fixed end, so play continues as long as the player keeps matching correctly.
How Difficulty Scales
The game does not rely on levels or menus to increase challenge. Instead, the timer shortens gradually as correct matches accumulate, and the shapes themselves become more intricate. Later rounds demand closer attention to subtle differences in angles and proportions. This escalation is automatic and requires no tutorials or difficulty selection, so beginners start at a comfortable pace while experienced players quickly face demanding rounds.
Feedback and Scoring
Visual feedback is immediate and minimal. A correct match triggers a brief cue such as a color flash or a short animation. An incorrect selection produces a gentle shake or color change, signaling the mistake without harsh effects. Points are awarded for each correct match, with bonuses for consecutive correct answers. A persistent high score tracker records the best performance, and the score only resets when the player chooses to restart.
Controls and Accessibility
The game supports both mouse clicks and touch inputs, so it works on desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones. No reading or language skills are required because all instructions are conveyed through visual icons and animations. The simple control scheme means players of all ages can begin matching shapes immediately.
