The goal is to score enough points based on the number of oudlers you hold—Petit, 21 of trumps, and Excuse—to succeed in your contract. How to Play:

To start, cards are dealt to all players. Each player then has a turn to bid on the contract, choosing from Small, Guard, Guard without the dog, Guard against, or Slam. The highest bidder becomes the taker and must score a target number of points (56, 51, 41, or 36) depending on their oudlers. Oudlers are special cards: Petit (1 of trumps), 21 of trumps, and Excuse. Play proceeds with players following suit or playing trumps, and the taker aims to meet their point goal. The game is intuitive and easy to learn.
